SHURUGWI TOWN COUNCIL LEADS MASSIVE PRESIDENTIAL CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN WITH MULTI-STAKEHOLDER SUPPORTSHURUGWI, ZIMBABWE – Shurugwi Town Council, in collaboration with local stakeholders and corporate partners, successfully conducted a massive National Presidential Clean-Up Campaign across the mining town today. The initiative, launched nationally to promote safe, healthy, and sustainable urban environments, saw an unprecedented turnout from all sectors of the Shurugwi community.The clean-up operation was coordinated by government departments under the leadership of the District Development Coordinator (DDC). Participants cleared illegal dump sites, swept major streets, and collected waste from residential and commercial areas. The event received massive corporate social responsibility backing from prominent local mining company Chengxi Investments, which provided critical logistical support to ensure the day’s success
