Refuse Collection
The housing department is responsible for waste management in all the 13 wards. Shurugwi Town
Council was awarded the best town council in waste management 2018-2019 under the councils
and local boards category in Zimbabwe. It works hand in hand with other local companies in waste
management such as Unki Mine and Zimasco.
