TERMS OF REFERENCE

1. To ensure treatment and constant supply of safe water to the town area.
2. To ensure treatment and safe disposal of sewage.
3. To ensure proper management of the council’s vehicles, plant and equipment.
4. To deal with matters relating to preparation and implementation of all Council capital development programmes and projects being carried out in-house or by contractors.
5. To deal with matters relating to building operations, town planning and development control.
6. To deal with matters relating to environmental management and conversation.
7. To ensure provision of civil defence, fire and ambulance services as well as street lighting.
8. To ensure provision of an efficient road network and storm drainage system.
9. To formulate and review by-laws on meters relating to functions of the Committee
